We’re Looking For A: Sr. Cinematographer to be responsible for developing a house style of cinematography, camera work and editing that has a consistent style and tone and will work with a team of physical production crew members to maintain and evolve this style. You will also be responsible for creating numerous video projects across a broad spectrum of brands and styles.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Shoot long-form and short-form video content designed to resonate with target audiences, driving engagement and shareability.
  • Execute the department’s creative vision while managing pre-production, production, and post-production duties simultaneously.
  • Translate ideas into clear, compelling visual concepts that can be easily executed by the team.
  • Manage video production inventory, organizing all pre-production and production materials for shoots.
  • Lead multiple fast-paced, complex projects from concept through delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce requested content that aligns with brand goals.
  • Participate in and contribute to pre-production meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for original, innovative video content.
  • Mentor other shooters, providing creative guidance and oversight.
  • Stay current with production technologies to help the team continuously meet and exceed department objectives.

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • 5–7 years’ experience as a cinematographer/shooter for videos with broad audience appeal.
  • Lighting expertise and experience across a wide range of environments, with an emphasis on natural lighting and outdoor set conditions.
  • Proficiency with multiple camera systems, preferably Sony DSLR, Canon, Blackmagic, and Arri.
  • Experience or interest in mobile/iPhone cinematography.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative, productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing deadlines, multitasking, and working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with production protocols and etiquette when working with talent.
  • Skilled in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Google Suite, Slack, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of color grading, multicam editing, and basic audio mixing (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

The base salary range is $86,500-$108,100, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.

The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote.
