We’re Looking For A: Highly detail-oriented and organized Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance & Accounting team. This role will have a strong focus on revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. You will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient month-end close, and scalable accounting operations that support the Company’s growth and long-term goals. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, with a focus on revenue and accounts receivable
  • Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions in compliance with ASC 606
  • Analyze customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatment and maintain supporting documentation
  • On a monthly basis, reconcile deferred revenue, sales allowances and other revenue-related accruals
  • Support lease accounting responsibilities under ASC 842, including tracking, classification, and journal entries
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Operations, Retail, IT, and other teams to support new product launches, pricing changes, and system updates impacting, revenue and AR
  • Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and lead initiatives to automate, streamline and standardize procedures
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting workflows
  • Assist with external audits, including preparation of workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and proactive with problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience 
  • Experience with revenue-related reconciliations and accounting for complex DTC and B2B
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting)
  • Exposure to revenue recognition and AR preferred.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce business environment is strongly preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and familiarity with AR modules is a plus

The base salary range is $78,700-$105,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.

The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote.
