We’re Looking For A: Senior Social Media Specialist, Pet that will be tasked with executing comprehensive social media strategies and managing various social media channels for brands centered around pets. The role involves creating and publishing social media content, engaging with audiences, and monitoring social media trends and conversations. 

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid) 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creating and publishing engaging monthly content on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and drive engagement and conversions.
  • Mentor junior social media specialists, providing guidance on content creation, social media best practices, and campaign development.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on social media performance and ROI.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on social media trends and best practices, providing guidance and training to other teams and departments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate social media into broader campaigns and marketing initiatives like email marketing, website development, paid advertising, and PR.
  • Support the Team and Manager on cross-functional and department-wide projects.

  • Leadership: Leadership skills to mentor a team of social media specialists and provide guidance on best practices and industry trends.Time Management: Ability to self-manage time and workload, set deadlines, and ensure that social media campaigns are launched and managed on time.
  • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.Social Media Management: Proficiency in managing social media platforms and using social media management tools to schedule posts, monitor engagement, and analyze metrics.
  • Content Creation: Ability to create engaging content for social media platforms that resonate with the target audience and align with the brand's tone and messaging.
  • Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative ideas for social media campaigns and content
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders and effectively communicate social media strategies and performance.
  • Strategic Development: Ability to execute social media strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and drive engagement, traffic, and leads.
  • Analytics: Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights and optimize social media campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Project management: Excellent project management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines for multiple social media campaigns and projects.
  • Experience working with Brands or Creators that can drive organic follower growth and support company revenue goals
  • 5+ years of experience managing social media in the Pet industry
  • 5+ years of Experience managing multiple direct-response brands in the Pet industry (preferred) 
  • Direct to Consumer (D2C) preferred

The base salary range is $67,500.00-$90,000.00, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
