Associate Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re Looking For An: Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to review JIRA task descriptions or project requirements, develop a test plan, thoroughly test all new and updated web pages, report defects, and other QA metrics, which will improve the overall quality of the Golden Hippo brands.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manual testing of web pages and web applications.
• Use Salesforce to query data relative to pages under test.
• Find and log defects with a clear and concise description, reproduction steps, screenshot, or video.
• Write test plans and test cases against requirements.
• Review product documentation for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and completeness.
• Interface with the DevOps team for infrastructure change testing.
• Assisting in the design and evolution of the company's QA process.
• Work closely with development, product, and QA team members.

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

• Knowledgeable on browsers (Edge, IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.) and mobile devices.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP.
• Experience working in a MAC or Windows environment.
• Experience with WordPress.
• Experience with testing eCommerce / shopping carts.
• Experience working in JIRA or other defect reporting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Experience working with Google Drive (docs, sheets).

The base hourly range for this position is $27.60-$36.83 plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
