We’re Looking For An: Inventory Lead
Location: Chatsworth, CA
Schedule: Sun-Thurs 7:00-3:30 pm
What You’ll Be Doing: The Inventory Lead reports directly to the Inventory Manager and works closely with the management team as well as other executive roles. The Inventory Lead is primarily responsible for working cross-functionally with various business units to maintain accurate perpetual inventories. The Inventory Lead will work with the appropriate management teams to develop an overall inventory and supply chain management strategy as well as initiate projects through reporting and analysis to enhance our systems for inventory tracking.
- Oversee the work and safety practices of DC Operations employees to meet Company needs; communicate department policies and procedures; train, coach, motivate, schedule work hours; provide input to employee evaluations, and support planning for future staffing and training needs
- Ensures inventory control reports accurately, reports inventory control productivity and quality
- Receives departmental work assignments from Supervisor.
- Assists in establishing and assigning work priorities within the Inventory department.
- Inspects, coordinates and records work performed by the Inventory department.
- Assists in resolving on-the-job technical questions/ issues.
- Refers all job discipline and non-routine issues to the Department Supervisor.
- Operates and uses all equipment following standard work instructions and operating procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, discipline, production and related information.
- Provide ongoing communication liaison to employee and supervisor covering operations matters, policy and procedures.
- Advise Supervisor of quality, ongoing, or unusual problems.
- Serve as an example to other employees by consistently demonstrating work habits that model and contribute to teamwork, productivity, and efficiency
- Resolve discrepancies within the Inventory control department.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure effective execution of Company goals
- Ensure operations in compliance with OSHA
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Experience working in a collaborative group environment as well as individually
- Resourceful with ability to take direction
- Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment
- 2 years’ experience in a distribution center/warehouse or equivalent Inventory environment (preferred)
- Experience operating material handling equipment preferred (preferred)
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory transactions, cycle counts and material movement (preferred)
- Proficient using MS Office applications as well as applications specific to field Knowledge with WMS programs and Word, etc (preferred)

The base hourly range is $25.50 - $27.00
