HR Operations Coordinator

We’re Looking For A(n): The HR Operations Coordinator is a hybrid, hands-on role responsible for ensuring operational excellence across facility management, regulatory compliance, safety programs, and on-site HR support. This role serves as a critical partner to both Operations and HR, ensuring the site operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with FDA, GMP, OSHA, and employment regulations.
This individual will act as a “boots-on-the-ground” leader, supporting day-to-day facility needs while also facilitating employee programs, reinforcing policies, and maintaining a compliant and productive work environment.
Location: Memphis, TN (Hybrid)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee daily facility operations and maintenance, ensuring a safe, clean, and fully operational environment across the site.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs and vendor relationships to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and OSHA regulations, maintaining audit readiness at all times.
- Lead and maintain safety programs, including workplace inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and compliance documentation to support regulatory standards and operational consistency.
- Serve as the on-site HR point of contact, supporting day-to-day employee needs and reinforcing company policies.
- Ensure adherence to California employment laws, including wage and hour practices, documentation, and workplace compliance.
- Support employee onboarding, engagement initiatives, and employee relations intake, partnering with HR leadership as needed.
- Monitor and report on compliance, safety, and operational metrics, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement.
- Act as a cross-functional partner between Operations, HR, and Leadership to align on priorities, improve processes, and support business objectives.

- Strong knowledge of FDA, GMP, and OSHA compliance and safety standards
- Working knowledge of California labor laws and HR practices
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance operational, compliance, and people priorities
